The old adage says 'buy low sell high'. Well agricultural land in Ukraine is low right now, in fact it’s very low. So why aren't people buying?
Largely fear based primarily on misinformation and bad or misinterpreted perceptions due to the conflict in the east. This only covers 7% of Ukraine's land mass and all the agricultural holdings we are proposing are well away from this area or even in the worst case scenario the area that Putin could be interested in for his land bridge to Crimea.
Next for the first time since independence in 1991 the new government is really making real efforts to reduce the levels of endemic corruption which has been around since the era of Peter the Great. Like the rest of the old Warsaw pact countries this will not happen ',overnight' but once it starts the process is almost irreversible. And those that paraded and protested on Maidan are keeping a close eye on their politicians to ensure there is no backtracking. Now they know and understand the power of people power and so do the politicians.
So if you want to buy cheap buy now as prices will only go one way from this summer, up. And probably quite quickly.
